Welcome Home

My name is Janelle. 

My husband laughed when I told him I wanted to start "yet another blog".  I've had a few to say the least, but The Grateful Heart has been calling to me for a while now.  Instead of writing to a whole lot of faceless someones, I've decided to write to you.  Share what has made me most grateful, most centered, most happy in hopes it may make you find those things too.  

I'm a mom to two great, challenging teens, both in their own way.  My son is sixteen.  My daughter is thirteen.  Today, I love all that goes with teens.  I don't know how I'll feel tomorrow.  We have two great little dogs, Sofie is a Yorkie/Shih-Tzu mix and Pippa is a Maltese/Shih-Tzu mix.  We live in beautiful Southern Wisconsin.  Getting to Wisconsin has been an adventure and a story onto itself.  A story I'm sure I'll share another day.  

I've been on a personal journey the last few years.  One that has taken me far from home and myself and back again.  I know that I'm still on that journey, but what I feel started me back home was an overwhelming feeling of gratitude.  This feeling I keep on trying to remind myself of to keep myself centered.  To keep happy and home.
